North Carolina, Raleigh-  To be attended to in any of the headquarters of the Consulate of Honduras in the United States , interested parties must schedule a consular appointment by entering: citaconsular.sreci.gob.hn 

Below we explain the steps you need to follow to get an appointment.

Steps to follow to make an appointment at the Honduran Consulate in the United States:

Step 1:  Login to citaconsular.sreci.gob.hn  to make an appointment at the Honduran Consulate, where you can choose the procedure, day and time, in which you want your appointment.

Applicants, in turn, after selecting the Honduran consular appointment, will receive a confirmation email in their email inbox.

You can enter the appointment platform for the Consulate of Honduras: citaconsular.sreci.gob.hn  through a computer, smart cell phone or tablet, as long as you have access to the Internet. 

Step 2:  Once you enter the link, the page will be displayed to start making the appointment, and you must select: consular appointments.

Step 3:   Select the type of client: Honduran or foreign. When you click on Honduran, you must fill out the applicant's personal information such as: Name, surname, date of birth, gender, telephone number, email address, identity number, current address.

Step 4:  Choose the location: Asia, Canada, Central America, United States, Europe and South America. Select: United States.

Step 5:  Select the consular headquarters to make an appointment at the Honduran consulate: If you are in North Carolina you must choose: Charlotte-North Carolina.

Step 6:  Select the type of procedure to carry out at the Honduran consulate: 

• Death certificate
• Authentication
• Sworn declaration
• Power Charter
• Birth registration
• Marriage certificate
• Divorce certificate
• Authorizations
• Faith of life
• Safe conduct
• Certification
• Honduran passport valid for 5 years
• Honduran Passport valid for 10 years
• Special power
• General power

Step 7:  When choosing the procedure for the consular appointment of Honduras, another page will be generated where you will find all the information about the requirements to be able to carry out the procedure.

At the end of this section there is an option on which you click: “If you meet all the requirements, click here”, then accept the option: CONTINUE.

Step 8:  The next page that will appear is a calendar, where you can select the month and day you need your Honduran consular appointment. It is worth mentioning that, if all the appointment slots for that date are already occupied, another date must be chosen until a slot is found. 

This section includes the available time  at the consular office of your choice.

*It is important to know that appointments at the Honduran consulates are non-transferable and must be filled out with personal data for both adults and minors.  

Step 9:  The next page that will be displayed is a “confirmation” that the appointment has been made successfully, for which the applicant will receive an email with the purpose of having a reminder of the day of the appointment. It is suggested to bring a printed document confirming the Honduran consular appointment in the United States. 

If you need to reschedule an appointment for the Honduran consulate

In case you need to reschedule the appointment, it is recommended to enter the email and look for confirmation to be able to reschedule your appointment. In this way, another person will be given the opportunity to carry out their procedure. 

It is important to mention that for each document an appointment must be made at the Consulate of Honduras. The reason is because the number of services per person to be received daily at the consular offices must be considered. Whether through passport processing or notarial documents; Please note that the latter require doorbells.

The maximum number of consular appointments per person is “four”.
