North Carolina, Charlotte – The Government of Honduras has an embassy and 13 consulates in the United States of America.
These consular offices provide assistance so that Hondurans can carry out their consular procedures, such as honduran passport renewal while they are in the United States.
The government of Honduras recently announced that it will open four more consulates to meet the high demand and improve care for more than 1 million Hondurans residing in the United States.
As revealed by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Honduras, Antonio García, a request was submitted in early 2023 to the United States Department of State, to open consulates in: Phoenix (Arizona), Denver (Colorado), Pittsburg (Pennsylvania) and Orlando (Florida).
