North Carolina, Raleigh – In 2022 in the United States, Father's Day will be celebrated on June 19. Traditionally, fathers are celebrated on the third Sunday in June, but this is not the case in everyone.
This date also extends to many Latin American countries such as: Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, even the United Kingdom and France.
In countries like Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Honduras is celebrated on March 19, which coincides with the St. Joseph's Day.
In Guatemala and El Salvador Father's Day is celebrated on June 17.

What is the origin of Father's Day?
For the United States, the origin of this holiday dates back to 1909, when Sonora Smart Dood, daughter of Henry Jackson Smart, decided to honor her father since he raised six children after his partner died giving birth to the last child.
Being a role model, she celebrated Father's Day on June 19, the date of her father's birth.
The idea, as in several celebrations established in the United States, was adopted by more cities.
However, it was not until 1924 that a national day was established by President Calvin Coolidge.
And in 1966, President Lyndon Johnson signed a proclamation establishing the third Sunday in June as Father's Day in the United States.
While in 1972, President Richard Nixon signed it into law.

The celebration of Father's Day, however, is not compared to the celebrations and festivals that take place in the Mother's Day, many families take advantage of the occasion to get together, whether to go out to eat at restaurants or celebrate at home with parents and grandparents.
The gifts don't hurt. In some schools they also make some crafts such as a card as a present for parents.
This Father's Day 2022 you can also take advantage and pamper him by preparing breakfast and bringing him to his bed.
