Good morning Santiago. We appreciate you sharing your concern with us. To obtain a certified copy of the Mexican birth certificate you have 2 options:
a) process it in person at one of the Mexican Consulates
b) process it through the internet
You can obtain a copy of your birth certificate through the page https://www.gob.mx/actas. The site offers you 2 ways to locate your record: entering your CURP -Unique Population Registry Key – if you do not know this alphanumeric key, they will give you instructions on how to obtain it, which is also an online process, the second option is providing your personal data .
Once you do either of the two options, the system will show you the details of your record and ask you to confirm them; If the data is not correct, the same system will tell you how to request the correction. When you confirm that the data is correct, the portal takes you to the online payment screen (to use this option you must have a Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card). The amount to be covered for the payment of rights is $90 Mexican pesos
You can also do it in person at any Mexican consulate in the United States. For this option, we suggest you request an appointment at the consulate of your choice.
