- Valid DUI
- DUI Certificate
- Proof of no DUI
- Original and recent birth certificate or identity card.

To renew the Salvadoran passport, interested parties must present proof of payment and provide an expired or expiring passport.
Documents to process the passport for the first time (Children and adolescents)
In the case of children and adolescents, proof of payment, a birth certificate valid for one year, and a DUI or valid Salvadoran passport of both parents must be presented.
Documents required for renewal of Salvadoran passport for children and adolescents
In this case, in addition to proof of payment, you must present: Expired or soon-to-expire passport, and DUI or passport of both parents.
What to do in case of loss or loss?
If the passport has been lost, or is not in your possession due to theft or robbery, you must process it by presenting the following: Proof of payment, Sworn statement, request forms and pay fees at the consulate.
