Who should register their ID card
The Colombians They can register their ID card if they have never done so, or if they have changed their place of residence and wish to participate in the 2026 Congressional and presidential elections.

It required
The platform does not require downloading applications: simply access the website, enter the data, for which you will need to have your ID card on hand, and allow the cell phone access to the location and use of the camera for biometric capture of facial features.
To complete the registration process, Colombians must present their yellow ID card or ID card with holograms, or their digital ID card in any of its versions (physical or digital).
Once a Colombian citizen completes the registration or change of polling place process, they will receive an email from the National Registry to download form E4. The email can be found in various inboxes, including the "spam" folder.
The registrar's office has also enabled a QR code to facilitate access to the platform.
When are the elections?
Colombians will be able to vote in the legislative elections on Sunday, March 8, to elect senators and representatives to the House of Representatives, including the representative for Colombians abroad. The presidential election will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Voting takes place at consulates and designated polling stations in each state within their jurisdiction. In the case of the Consulate in Atlanta, Georgia, it has jurisdiction over the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

- Look in your email for a message from the registrar's office to download Form E4, which is proof of registration, which you must present at the polling station.
