Shalom Project It offers free primary medical care and pharmacy services to its patients. You can visit the clinic without an appointment on Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

They also have available a Spanish resource guide for your patients in a master document. This guide includes dental care, eye care services, disability services, and more.

The DEAC clinic It is a free, student-run medical clinic that provides high-quality care to patients in and around the communities of Winston-Salem.

It offers comprehensive medical care, routine medical consultations (in person and limited virtual services for those who cannot come to the facility), mental health services, among others.

Community Care Network guilford 

Guilford Community Care Network (GCCN) is an initiative organized by Guilford Adult Health, Inc. (GAH) to provide medical care to uninsured patients in the county. Its provider network is comprised of a public-private partnership between High Point Medical Center, Cone Health, and Guilford County, through the Guilford County Public Health Department.

They offer programs like the one that “Orange Card”The program assigns patients a "medical home" that covers their health needs and assists with medications and transportation services, among other services related to access to health.

To obtain your “Orange Card”, you must submit completed applications and supporting documents to a secure drop box at DSS Greensboro, located at 1203 Maple St. or at DSS High Point, located at 325 E. Russell Ave.

You can also submit your application to GCCN staff at the DSS offices on Mondays and Wednesdays in Greensboro and Thursdays in High Point, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Who does it provide care to? 

Uninsured adults (19-64 years of age) with an income between 0%-200% of the federal poverty level (FPL).

Cone Health 

Cone Health It is one of the leading health providers in the Guilford area, connecting and integrating healthcare and wellness services under one roof.

They have two community centers in Guilford: Cone Health Community Health & Wellness Center and Cone Health MedCenter Greensboro. The following data and information are universal for both centers:

Yes. Cone Health  has at your disposal free language assistance services, including:

  • Telephone and in-person interpretation services for Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Medical interpreters with specialized training

Cone Health Community Health & Wellness Center It is a patient-centered clinic and a department of Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. It offers same-day and walk-in appointments only for patients already registered in the provider network. Walk-in appointments are available Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Same-day appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The information below regarding language services and financial aid applies to all Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist locations.

Do you offer interpreter services? 

Yes. It offers free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as: qualified interpreters and written information in other languages.

Attention with or without insurance? 

They accept most health insurance plans. You can access the full list through their website.

They also offer financial assistance, from interest-free payment plans to discounted or free medical care for uninsured patients.

Patients without health insurance or any other source of funding who have a household income equal to or less than 300% of the Federal Poverty Limit (FPL) and live in North Carolina in the Guilford service area may be eligible for a full (100%) discount for critically needed medical care.
