North Carolina, Raleigh- A total of 15 Hispanics in North Carolina obtained the new LatinxEd Educational Equity Scholarship, in his first promotion.
This scholarship offers a six-month immersive learning opportunity to Latino educational leaders who match the beliefs from LatinxEd; and who are also committed to the development of racial and ethnic identity for Hispanic families in the rural south and actively work to promote access to opportunities.
The LatinxEd scholarship winners are:

With this grant, LatinxEd aims to build a trusted network of Latino educational leaders with a desire to work together to create a more inclusive and equitable educational system.
“Opportunities like the LatinxEd Scholarship are essential to investing in and expanding Latino leadership in our state,” said Ricky Hurtado, co-founder and Chief Development Officer of LatinxEd.

LatinxEd Scholarship Benefits
Throughout the fellowship, those selected will gain skills and knowledge necessary to engage in education advocacy; in addition to acquiring leadership experience as professionals.
Fellows will receive ongoing leadership training and strategic communications support, as well as access to key educational leaders in the state.
