In response to the fear and uncertainty experienced by the immigrant community in Charlotte following the recent immigration operationsLocal supermarkets have begun offering free grocery delivery services as direct support to affected families.

Compare Foods Charlotte  announced that, from this Monday until December 31, purchases made through its website compareclt.com, Shipping will be free when using the promotional code. NOFEE2025 .

“Our mission is for our customers to be able to receive their products with peace of mind, from the comfort of their homes,” the chain said in a statement posted on Facebook.

Orders can also be placed through platforms such as Uber Eats, DoorDash and Groceries However, in these cases, the usual fees of each app apply. Those who prefer to visit the store in person can inquire about an Uber transportation service available for certain purchase amounts.

These actions are taking place amid a tense atmosphere in the city, following the deployment of the so-called "Operation Charlotte's Web", led by the Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security.
